About the Authors

With FRAGMENTS OF TIME, the author explores different genres to write stories of people interacting with each other, calamities, adventures, humor, pathos, or fantasy.  A potpourri of tales, designed to remind the reader of themselves.

J.W. Capek has completed the Deerwhere trilogy with a unique perspective. Through experiences, research, and observations, J.W. asks when does Science Fiction become Science Reality? What does it mean to be human? As a raconteur, teacher, and author, it is all about imagination and love of telling stories.

J.L. Snyder was raised in Arizona and worked as a logistics specialist for the Air Force in California for twenty-five years. After retiring, boredom set in so like everyone else in his family, he decided to take up writing. He chose to begin that risky career by contributing several short stories to J. W. Capek’s EVER AEQUUM, part of the Deerwhere Codex Series.

Stories authored by J.L. appear in UNNERVING ECLIPSE and WICKED and in EVER AEQUUM.  James contributes photography to the research and writing of Fragments of Time and the Deerwhere Codex.
