Interview with Kitsap Literary Artists & Writers

January 6, 2018

A special event occurred for me with the invitation of the Kitsap Literary Artists & Writers (KLAW) to be interviewed as the author of THE DEERWHERE AWAKENING. Recorded at the Bremerton Kitsap Access Television (BKAT) studio, Peter Stockwell asked questions readers might ask about my unusual story of a Utopian Society with Uniales as a third, unique sex. KLAW’s emphasis was tapping into writer’s skills, motivations, and personal reactions to writing and to “being a writer.”

It was a great pleasure discussing my favorite people, the inhabitants of Deerwhere. To a writer, characters do become real and are sometimes surprising in the personalities they bring to the narrative. In the interview, hints were given to the remainders of the Deerwhere trilogy as the characters of Adrion’s Passage are now clamoring for attention.

The interview can be seen January 20, 2018 at 6:00pm (PST). BKAT is a Public Education and Government (PEG) Access television station airing programming on Comcast Channel 12 and WAVE Broadband channel 3.
