I sold books which included all of Codex 2 and 3. I left the Deerwhere Awakening books (signed) with B&N. It was a very special day with contacts with special people.
A family talked about the book and the teenage son was already familiar with it because a “guest teacher” had read the beginning to his class. His fourth-grade sister had also heard of it in school. There was a creative writing student who wanted to talk about writing. One man who always wanted to write was encouraged by my longevity and had a “seed planted” to write someday. A dedicated reader bought the whole Codex series because she was eager to read it all. A woman who works with young men and women sailors (a psycho-therapist) chose Adrion’s Passage because it was coming of age.
